This 16-1/2-by-5-1/4-inch unfinished pine tray creates a tidy space to store four long kitchen knives with blades up to 10 inches long, as well as three steak knives or paring knives. Two of the long knife slots can be used instead to hold kitchen shears or a knife-sharpening rod.
